Depending on COVID19 pandemic the creatiVE 2021 event will be organised in ONLINE/ONSITE format (i.e. with restricted physical participation at Mangalia Museum of Archaeology, no more than 10 onsite participants), in order to reduce social interactions! Thank you for your understanding and participation!
Expected number of participants: ONLINE/ONSITE 3-6 lecturers, ONSITE up to 12 undergraduate students and high school students, ONLINE no limit of participants.
Registration will be made by following the procedure mentioned below:
Step 1 - send an email of interest at "d m p o p o v i c i at u n i v - o v i d i u s . r o" without spaces NO LATER THAN 15th September 2021, 09h45, with mention "creatiVE online 2021" together with your full name, affiliation, and a phone number. Be prepared with a proof of your status from your university/college.
Step 2 - registered participants must access the virtual room as indicated in the program. Non-registered participants are not allowed to access the virtual room!
The registered participants (i.e. email confirmed by organizers) have to pay NO fee!
ONLINE session will be hosted by Webex within the virtual room located at: https://ovidius.webex.com/meet/dmpopovici31 starting with 10.00.
Registered participants are expected to request acces in the virtual room starting with 9.45 AM.
Non-registered participants are NOT ALLOWED to access the virtual room!

Laura is PhD student/research assistant. She is interested in pattern recognition, image processing, and tensor mathematics.

Dragos finished his PhD. in 2009 at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. For the last four and half years he has been working in R&D on augmented reality and computer vision in the Dutch IT industry.
Doctorant and Lecturer at Technical University of Moldova, Executive Director at Creative Industries Association in Moldova, organizer of first game development conference in Moldova - "Game Factory"
Based in Bucharest, he is in charge of a design studio where they use cutting edge CAD technology and BIM programs to reach ideal solutions for their clients.
He is interested in 3D modeling, reverse engineering and digitization using different scanners: laser, structured light, multisensory CMM and terrestrial scanners.
His main research interests are VR/AR technologies for industrial applications, medicine, heritage, human-computer interaction and robotics.
Radu is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Suceava and the scientific leader of the MintViz lab. He is interested in applying AI techniques to design useful and usable interactions between humans, computers, and environments.
